I wanted to share a quick follow-up on the 3W Auto-life rubber mats I recently won in a forum giveaway. I’ve been using them for a bit now, and since I’ve previously owned a set of the “Chinese fake” mats, the difference is pretty huge.
When I unboxed these, there was a small warp in the corner from shipping. However, they included instructions on exactly how to fix that. I followed the steps and fixed it in literally a second. Compare that to my old cheap mats, which arrived warped and stayed that way for a long time—I couldn’t even fix those without warming them up and a lot of effort.
The rubber quality is definitely premium. They have a perfect fit—no gaps, no weird curls, and they stay totally flush against the car’s trim.
Another big thing for me was the smell. If you’ve ever had cheap rubber mats, you know that “new car chemical” smell that gets 10x worse when they get wet. These have zero smell, even after tracking in rain or getting them damp.
