I received a set of 3W Auto-Life floor mats/liners from @Daniela at 3W Auto Life to try out and give my thoughts on for my 2024 Bronco. I know there are dozens of different branded floor mats out there of different design and quality. I am comparing the 3W mats only to the Tux-Mats and the Ford mats that I have on hand.
The set of 3W Auto-Life mats I received were well packed in a large box and all 8 pieces arrived unscathed. I received front and rear floor mats, rear cargo mat and the 4 piece rear seat back covers.
They are floor mats so installation was a breeze as expected and they all fit perfectly. I have the rubberized washout floors in my Bronco and one thing I did notice is that the front mats do wiggle side to side a bit because they are sitting on the slick flooring. The 3W mats are locked in by the floor mat studs so they are absolutely not going anywhere and I don’t feel them move at all while driving, but on installation they may slide side to side a bit on the floor. I also noticed that there is no no dedicated heel pad for the drivers mat so only time will tell if that’s an issue. I’ve worn holes on the cheap OEM carpeted mats before but the 3W material is a lot tougher it seems so hopefully that is not an issue.
I have not been able to off-road with them yet and WA hasn’t seen rain all summer so no mud to be found. I do park on a gravel pad with crispy dead grass and leaves that always find their way into the car, I filled the liners up with junk from my boots getting in and out of the Bronco and the mats kept all the debris off the floor underneath. They are definitely harder to clean compared to the Tux and Ford mats but they do a good job of keeping the dirt contained to the mat.
